Glacial Freeze Dry is a family-owned contract manufacturer based in Wales, Wisconsin, specializing in premium freeze-dried products for brands ready to grow. We combine state-of-the-art freeze-dry technology with a hands-on, flexible approach to help companies turn fresh ideas into shelf-stable products.
Our culture is built on saying “yes” when others say “no,” offering flexible minimum order quantities, rapid pilot runs, and the ability to scale from concept to commercial production on your timeline while delivering the clean-label credibility today’s consumers demand.
The brand acquired Foodynamics, founded by Sean Jones and now director of sales at Glacial Freeze Dry’s Wales location, in 2025, to add capacity and accelerate production for brands at every stage of growth.

Our state-of-the-art freeze-dry technology preserves up to 98% of nutrients while extending shelf life up to 25 years — all without preservatives or artificial additives. This science-backed process removes moisture while preserving the integrity of natural ingredients, resulting in clean-label products that meet today’s consumer demands for both quality and convenience. When your volume justifies it, we even offer seamless 1-to-1 recipe transfer capability to help you migrate production to your own in-house freeze dryers.
